Features

It lives in dry areas such as deserts and savannas, and is herbivorous, eating wild grasses and succulents. It is the third largest turtle in the world, reaching a carapace length of 40 cm and a weight of 40 kg. Its name comes from the protruding part around the base of its hind legs that looks like a "spur".

From the breeding staff

There are three African spurred African spurred tortoise living here; a girl named "Cola" and two boys named "Ramune" and "Tony". If you look closely, you'll notice that the patterns and shapes of their shells are completely different! You can watch them eat with great force during the feeding experience!

Features

They live in groups in wetlands and lakes, and have a large beak with a pouch-like throat pouch that allows the skin to stretch. They scoop up fish along with the water, and spit the water out of the gaps in their beaks to catch them. They are about 1.5 meters long, and their wingspan is nearly 3 meters. Their feet have large webbed feet, which are suitable for swimming underwater.

People who like him, love him! People who don't like him, absolutely hate him! But Pelican is a key figure who always gives energy to the staff. I hope he eats a lot of fish every day and stays healthy.

Features

As its name suggests, in the wild, it mainly feeds on termites, inserting its long, thin tongue, which can reach up to 40cm, into anthills and entangling them to prey. It has very strong claws, which it sometimes uses to destroy anthills. It mainly lives in trees, and uses its long, sturdy tail to move between trees.

They have no teeth and eat with their long tongues. They have big, muscular front legs and big claws, so when they ask to play with you, you have to be careful not to hurt them. You don't have to worry about them biting you, but they are still quite dangerous creatures. But they are very cute.
