Features

A deep-sea fish with a long, slender body, silvery body color, and bright red fins. Because it lives in the deep waters of the open ocean, its detailed ecology has yet to be fully elucidated. It moves with the ocean currents, tilting diagonally and swaying in a treadmill position. It is occasionally spotted getting lost in shallow waters.

Features

It is one of the largest invertebrates in the world and is said to be one of the most mysterious creatures on Earth. There are many unknowns about it, and its detailed ecology has yet to be elucidated. Individuals have been discovered that are up to 18m in length and weigh over 1 ton. It lives in the deep sea, at depths of over 500m. It was first discovered alive in 2012.

Features

It is the largest fish in the world, with a body length of 8 to 10 meters, and the largest ones exceed 12 meters. Its name comes from the fact that the color pattern on its body resembles the summer clothing "jinbei". It migrates in subtropical and tropical waters around the world. It has a gentle personality, and mainly sucks in small zooplankton such as krill along with the seawater, filtering out only the food to eat.

Features

A type of large saltwater fish, some of which can reach a length of 3m and a weight of over 100kg. They are characterized by their large dorsal fin and spear-shaped upper jaw. They can swim at speeds of over 100km per hour, jumping across the ocean's surface. They prey on small fish such as sardines and horse mackerel, as well as squid.

Features

As their name suggests, they have blue legs. When courting, males hold their blue legs up high to show off to females. They fly out to sea in the daytime in search of food, and when they find prey, they dive into the water from a height of over 20m to catch the fish. Sometimes they dive in unison in groups, coordinating their timing.

This bird is characterized by its bright blue feet, which look as if they were painted with paint. Its courtship behavior of stomping its feet in front of the female is almost like a dance!
